Why we built this
The tools that exist for client management were built for agencies with a project manager, a CRM admin, and an IT department. A solo accountant with 40 clients, a pilates instructor with 20 regular students, a mortgage broker managing six active files — none of them have those resources, but all of them need the same thing: a professional, organised place their clients can log into.
We believed that tool should exist and be simple. So we built it.
How we operate
Independently funded. No venture capital, no board of directors, no "exciting to announce we've been acquired" email. We make money when operators upgrade, which means our incentives are aligned with yours: we win when you look good in front of your clients.
We're a small team. We build deliberately and ship when things are ready. We don't add features to close deals or chase trends. The product roadmap is shaped by operators who use Desk FT every day.
Client-first by default
Every design decision starts with how it looks and feels to the person logging in on your behalf.
Cut, don't accumulate
We default to removing scope, not adding it. A focused tool that does five things well beats a bloated one that does fifty things poorly.
Long-term, not growth-at-all-costs
We're building something we'd want to use ourselves for the next decade. That changes how we make every decision.
